The following map was created by me as part of an exercise in the Geographic Information Systems 3-Dimensional Analysis (GIS 205) course at Northern Virginia Community College. The goal of the exercise was to determine the ideal site for a new school in Stowe, Vermont based on such criteria as distance to existing schools and roads and proximity to recreational sites such as parks, as well as other considerations such as the slope and elevation of the site.
