Hello and welcome to my geographic information systems portfolio!
I have over three years’ experience working with GIS, both collecting and editing data but also performing spatial analysis. Of particular interest to me are the applications of GIS in transportation or urban and regional planning. In 2017, I was able to put these interests into practice as a GIS analyst with GRTC Transit System, the transit operator in Richmond, Virginia. More recently, I also gained over a year’s experience editing remotely sensed (mainly LiDAR) data as a geospatial technician with a civil engineering firm in the Charlotte, NC area. The data were inputs to the Flood Inundation Mapping and Alert Network (FIMAN) of the North Carolina Emergency Management Office. This was followed by a short stint with the City of Richmond Department of Public Utilities, where my work had to do with natural gas distribution. Most recently, my experience with GIS has been in support of rural broadband development, first with Comcast and, currently, with Dominion Energy in Richmond, Virginia.
This website is always a work in progress; as my experience with GIS grows, the content of this site will be updated. In the coming months, more examples of my work will appear on ArcGIS Online, where my entire portfolio will eventually move. In the meantime, do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions or comments.
